All,
For those of you who were not able to attend last nights meeting with the representative from Wave here is a quick update on the outcome.
Wave Regional Sales Manager Rob Goolsby provided a quick overview of services and pricing we can expect from Wave.
Wave is still not able to provide a specific date when the build out will be completed. However, Rob believes people will have service before the end of September. (However, keep in mind Rob is from Sales not the Engineering Dept)
To sign up for services Rob will be our direct point of contact. Per Rob, homeowners will receive better information and pricing by working directly with Rob and his team than through the Wave Customer Service line
When services are available Wave plans to send a crew into the neighborhood to turn on services. Thus everyone should be able to get up and running in a very short window
Rob and his team will be going through the neighborhood to give people an opportunity to sign up for services. They do not use hard sales tactics this is simply to make sure everyone who wishes to sign-up has an opportunity to do so. The HOA will NOT provide Wave with any resident's contact information to ensure privacy is maintained.
Keep in mind Wave is trying to build out the services as quickly as possible to get us up and running. Wave will turn services on with less testing than they would normally do when they build out a new network. This may result in a few growing pains over the first couple of weeks as they work to balance the network etc.
Here is Rob's contact information for those of you who would like additional information on pricing and services.
