Trail Maintenance is complete

Check out the newly opened trails of Storm Lake Heights!  The repairs and updates to the trails are complete and ready for the coming winter season.  In addition to clearing most of the trail and widening the trail back to its original width, two forms of rock were laid down.  A sub base of 2x4 rock was placed in all the wet areas and topped with a 5/8 road gravel.  The combination will form a solid bed for the trail during the rainy season and make the trail available year round.  In addition, some areas of the clearing were cleared further.
